Summer Beam Built is based in New Hampshire and Vermont's Upper Valley community, and specializes in housing remodeling, fabrication, installation of architectural pieces, and bespoke cabinetry and furniture. They also provide general contracting services, drawing on relationships formed with the Upper Valley community's best tradespeople. They pride themselves on constructing living spaces that are beautiful and functional, and offer courteous and steady handed service.

Matt Clarke began working construction in England. After moving to the United States, he continued his work for 5 years in New Haven, Connecticut, including 2 years working with Bryan Stallman, one of New England's most celebrated cabinet makers. He spent 4 years working for an Upper Valley contractor before creating Summer Beam in 2011.
